Movie Mania - The Wild Robot
Kiwanis One Day: Bringing Joy to Children Across Malaysia In a heartwarming initiative, Kiwanis Malaysia, in collaboration with TGV Cinemas, celebrated Kiwanis One Day by bringing together children from various regions to enjoy a special movie screening. This year, 800 children from Selangor, Penang, Johor, and Ipoh were invited to watch The Wild Robot, a film that aims to inspire young minds to be adventurous and think outside the box. As part of TGV Cinemas’ CSR program, this event was designed to provide a memorable experience for children who rarely have the opportunity to enjoy a movie. TGV Cinemas expressed their delight in partnering with Kiwanis to bring joy and valuable life lessons to these children. For Kiwanis Klang, preparations were made to accommodate 110 children at TGV 1Utama. The children from Rumah Kids, Rotary Club of Subang, Pusat Jagaan Ambe & SJKT Midlands, joined Kiwanis members for this special event. The event was graced by the presence of Governor Michael Chiew, Governor Designate Olivia Chin, and Governor Elect Gary Wong who showed their support and enthusiasm for the initiative. This celebration of Kiwanis One Day not only brought smiles to the faces of many children but also reinforced the importance of community and giving back.
The Wild Robot Cinematic Experience for TALC Kids
The Kiwanis Club of Taman Tun Dr Ismail treated 100 children and 10 of their teachers from The Assembly Learning Centre (TALC) and the Blessed Mentari Boys Home to a screening of "The Wild Robot"! The children were buzzing with excitement and swarmed into the cinema where we gathered them for a brief introduction to our organizing team. The anticipation was palpable as we entered the hall and took our seats. The children were glued to the screen as the show unfolded. The best part was hearing them laugh at the funny moments, cheer and clap when the robot overcame difficulties, and giggle with joy. We even had a few teachers admitting that they shed a few tears too. We all had a WILD time! We would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors: Books For A Better World Sdn Bhd, Drinho, Nature Farm Malaysia , Ink Media, KC Klang Central, and various donors who have contributed to making this project a success. We would also like to thank LG Sandra, PG Dato' Fatimah, and President of KCKC Michael for coming to support us. #TheWildRobot #CinemaProject #ChildrensDayOut #SponsorsThankYou #MakingMemories #MakeADifference #GivingBack #ThankYouSponsors #Kiwanis #KiwanisTTDI #JoinKiwanis #OneTeamOneMission The Assembly Soup Kitchen - TASK - 27 SEP 2024

KCTTDI’s Key Club at Tree Top International School (TTIS) BOD Installation
KCTTDI’s Key Club at Tree Top International School (TTIS) successfully conducted its installation on 12th September 2024, marking a memorable day filled with achievements and promise. A huge thank you to LG Designate Sandra Tatiana Choy for conducting the installation ceremony with grace and enthusiasm. The highlight of the day was witnessing our young members take the lead in a library project, building cabinets and setting up bookshelves with remarkable independence and teamwork. It was heartwarming to see them collaborate and take ownership of the task, showcasing their potential and dedication. We were also honored to have IPG Rosemary share her insights on organ donation, emphasizing the importance of community service and selflessness. Special thanks to Governor Michael Chiew for gracing the event with his presence and support. As we look forward to more exciting activities from our young and vibrant leaders, we are filled with optimism for their future. We hope that after school, they will continue their journey in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and join the ranks of TTDI's esteemed club members. The future is undoubtedly bright for these children, and we are eager to see the positive impact they will have on their community and beyond. #KCTTDI #KeyClub #TTIS #Installation #LibraryProject #YouthEmpowerment #OrganDonation #CSR #BrightFuture #ThankYouGovernor #CommunityService
