KSCC helps children master motor skills and participate in daily activities, giving them the chance to grow with dignity and independence. Over the years, KSCC has been sustained entirely by public donations and the dedication of KCBP members. In 2025, our Board of Directors took a bold step forward by introducing occupational therapy — a vital service often too costly for families in the lower income group. With the support of private donors and the Ministry of Finance, we successfully completed the basic fitting of our occupational therapy room. Why This Fundraising MattersKSCC currently has 4 full-time teachers and a maximum capacity of 35 students.We have a waiting list of children eager to join.There are 3 empty rooms ready to be furnished to welcome more students.Our goal is to secure operational costs to hire qualified therapists and teachers, ensuring KSCC can serve more families in need. 🌟 A Golden Legacy, A Brighter Future Fifty years ago, the Kiwanis Club of Kuala Lumpur was first chartered by the late Tan Sri Khir Johari. What began as a single club has since blossomed into a nationwide movement of 44 Kiwanis Clubs across Malaysia, united by one purpose: to serve children and communities in need. This year, we mark a golden milestone — our 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Charity Dinner. More than a celebration of our past, this event is a call to action: to continue building hope, creating opportunities, and raising vital funds for the Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation (KDSF) centres in Petaling Jaya, Klang, Melaka, and Johor Bahru. Kiwanis KARTnival Emas  The Kiwanis Club of Kuala Lumpur is marking a golden milestone with its 50th anniversary celebration, held in conjunction with World Down Syndrome Day. The Kiwanis KARTnival Emas brings together families, friends and communities for a vibrant day of fun, unity and purpose. Highlights of the event include the Build Your Own Gravity recycled Kart (BYK) showcase and race alongside spirited sports teams from refugee schools and children’s homes. We are hosting a Sports competition event between 5-8 homes and refugee center. Sports includes football and relay races / mini sports suitable for younger kids. This will be a joint event with Kiwanis Club of Kuala Lumpur in their Kartnival (50th Anniversary Event).

25th LNY Senior Citizen’s Luncheon 2026 Since 1998, the Kiwanis Club of Johor Bahru has proudly hosted the Lunar New Year Luncheon, a cherished tradition that brings festive joy and community spirit to life each year. On 25 January 2026, the celebration will be held at Loon Sing Restaurant, Taman Daya, where we are honored to welcome 350 elderly guests from Johor Bahru and its surrounding areas. This annual luncheon is more than a meal. It is a gesture of care, respect, and togetherness, ensuring that our elderly community members feel valued and celebrated during the festive season. Guests will enjoy a sumptuous Lunar New Year banquet, complemented by a vibrant program of entertainment designed to create laughter, warmth, and lasting memories. Highlights include the Hua Tiong JB Dragon Team, the delightful Big Head Doll performance by Pak Siang JB and a lineup of volunteer singers who will bring festive cheer through music. Adding to the joy, the Johor Bahru Key Club and Circle K’ers will prepare engaging games and prizes, ensuring our elderly guests are entertained and celebrated throughout the afternoon. For more than a decade, Magic Cut Salon volunteers have generously offered their services to our elderly guests, helping them look and feel their very best for the occasion.
