KCTTDI Education, Planning & Team-Building Retreat
As Kiwanis Club of Taman Tun Dr. Ismail (KITT) enters its 30th year, we reflect on a meaningful journey marked by growth, resilience, and renewed spirit. Over the decades, the club has experienced different seasons—from vibrant years filled with impactful activities and strong fellowship, to quieter phases of reduced momentum. In recent years, however, the club has seen a refreshing revival. With the involvement of new, energetic members and the continued commitment of long-standing Kiwanians, KITT is once again rising with purpose and enthusiasm. The future looks promising. In conjunction with our 30th Anniversary celebration, the club organised a Retreat from 25–26 October at Cyberview Resort. Nearly all members were present, making it a valuable and meaningful gathering. The retreat was designed with three key objectives: Education & Induction To orient and induct new members while refreshing the understanding of Kiwanis values, operations, and mission among existing members. Team Building & Fellowship To strengthen bonds, deepen trust and camaraderie, and bridge friendships between long-serving and newer members. Planning for the Future To brainstorm and develop programmes and activities that will continue to drive KITT’s impact in the coming term and beyond. The retreat served not only as a platform for planning, but also as a reminder of who we are—a community of people driven by service, compassion, and the belief that together, we can make a difference. Only in KCTTDI — where service meets heart, and fellowship feels like family.

KCTTDI Delivers Brownies Courtesy of Country Farm Organic
Kiwanis Club of Taman Tun Dr Ismail had the pleasure of distributing 5 boxes of delicious brownies generously contributed by Country Farm Organic. 3 boxes were shared with PPKI students of SMK Kiaramas, and 2 boxes were shared between students from Tahfizah Furqan Lil Banat, Tahfiz Almaafatih, and Tahfizah Mafatihul Ulum. A big thank you to Country Farm Organic for spreading joy with us. May these small gestures continue to bring smiles and warmth to many!

Spreading Sweetness with Purpose!
🍪 Spreading Sweetness with Purpose! 🍪 Our Kiwanis Club of Visionaries (KCV) members recently carried out a small but heartfelt community project — donating 720 packets of chocolate chip cookies to the children of The Assemble Soup Kitchen (TASK). 💛 Behind every packet is a message of care and kindness — a reminder that even simple gestures can bring smiles and hope to those who need it most. A big thank you to all our Visionaries who made this possible — proof that when we come together, we can make a difference one cookie (and one child’s smile) at a time! 🍪✨ #Kiwanis #KiwanisMalaysia #KiwanisVisionaries #CommunityService #Visionaries #TASK #GivingBack #ServingTheChildrenOfTheWorld

Photo from our recent KCV Networking Session
Photo from our recent KCV Networking Session Yesterday we had the honour of hosting Dietitian Mary Easaw, and oh, what a session — she walked us through the principles and practice of mindful eating. A little about Mary’s background (so you know why her talk was gold): • She is the Consultant Dietitian at Cardiac Vascular Sentral Kuala Lumpur (CVSKL) and KL Integrated Oncology Centre (KLIOC). • She has over 30 years of experience in the field of dietetics in Malaysia. • In 2016, she was named Outstanding Dietitian of the Year by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics — the first Malaysian to receive that honour. • She frequently shares her expertise in public talks, hospital forums, and media on topics such as heart health, nutrition, and behaviour change. During the session, Mary reminded us that mindful eating is more than just what we eat — it’s how we eat, how present we are, how we recall and reflect. She led us through simple reminders: slow down, savour, pause, feel fullness cues, and most importantly, forgive yourself when you don’t always follow “perfectly.” If you missed this one — no worries. Stay tuned for our next KCV networking event. You’ll want to be there to listen, learn, and connect. A big thank you to Mary for her wisdom, and to everyone who joined and contributed to the energy yesterday. Let’s keep practising kindness — to others and to ourselves (especially at mealtimes). 🙏 #KCVNetworking #MindfulEating #HealthAndWellness #Dietetics #ProfessionalGrowth #CommunityEngagement
