Transforming the Lives of Children

Help put computers in the hands of our most disadvantaged children to support their online learning classes.

With schoolchildren kept away from schools once again under MCO 3.0, children from low-income families are struggling to keep up with online lessons due to the lack of devices and internet connections. Education is a fundamental right, and no child should be left behind simply because they lack the necessary tools.

Our Mission

"Kids Need Computers" aims to change this reality by setting an ambitious target of supplying 1,000 tablets to families in need. These tablets will be a beacon of hope, enabling children to participate in online classes and continue their education uninterrupted. A single tablet can benefit multiple children within a family, making each donation have a profound and lasting impact.

How You Can Help

We ask the public to donate generously to this cause. A donation of RM 850 will purchase a tablet equipped with a prepaid chip for three months of usage. By donating one unit, you are not just giving a device; you are providing a gateway to knowledge, opportunities, and a brighter future for these children.

The ongoing pandemic has highlighted the digital divide, with children from low-income families being the hardest hit. Without access to computers or the internet, these children risk falling behind their peers, widening the educational gap. Support Jeffery Aw's Stroke Recovery

Our dear friend and fellow Kiwanis member, Jeffery Aw, suffered a serious stroke last Wednesday. He's currently receiving urgent medical treatment and faces a long and challenging journey to recovery, which includes extensive rehabilitation. Jeffery has always been a dedicated and selfless contributor to our community, giving his time, energy, and heart to serve others. He is a Director in the Kiwanis Club of Kota Kemuning, and has also served as Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Pandan Jaya and a past Director of the Kiwanis Club of Bukit Jalil. The costs for his hospitalization, ongoing therapy, and rehabilitation are substantial and continue to increase daily. We are humbly asking for your support to help ease the financial burden on his family during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference. Let's come together as a Kiwanis family and community to support Jeffery on his road to recovery.
