Blast from the Past Charity Bazaar The “Blast from the Past” Charity Bazaar, organized by Books For A Better World and the Kiwanis Club of Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, is having a three day community spirit, nostalgia, and fun event from October 25-27 at Level 4, Avenue K. This vibrant bazaar had something for everyone, with 30 booths offering pre-loved books, clothes, toys, handmade crafts, organic produce, saris, delicious food, and even a petting zoo! The event was launched by Kiwanis Malaysia District Governor Olivia Chin together with Adrian Ung President of TTDI and also CEO of Books for A Better World. At the event were Immediate Past Governor Michael Chiew, First Lady Kiwanis International President See Yan, Past Governor Dato Fatimah Saad, Lieutenant Governor Div 4 Sandra, Lieutenant Governor Div 1 Rodney and PR Chair Katherine Chew. All funds raised go directly to the Kiwanis Club of Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, with a significant portion dedicated to their upcoming Christmas project. This project will bring joy to underprivileged children, ensuring they receive a special holiday gift.
