KCTTDI - Education, Planning & Team-Building Retreat
As Kiwanis Club of Taman Tun Dr. Ismail (KITT) enters its 30th year, we reflect on a meaningful journey marked by growth, resilience, and renewed spirit. Over the decades, the club has experienced different seasons—from vibrant years filled with impactful activities and strong fellowship, to quieter phases of reduced momentum. In recent years, however, the club has seen a refreshing revival. With the involvement of new, energetic members and the continued commitment of long-standing Kiwanians, KITT is once again rising with purpose and enthusiasm. The future looks promising. In conjunction with our 30th Anniversary celebration, the club organised a Retreat from 25–26 October at Cyberview Resort. Nearly all members were present, making it a valuable and meaningful gathering. The retreat was designed with three key objectives: Education & Induction To orient and induct new members while refreshing the understanding of Kiwanis values, operations, and mission among existing members. Team Building & Fellowship To strengthen bonds, deepen trust and camaraderie, and bridge friendships between long-serving and newer members. Planning for the Future To brainstorm and develop programmes and activities that will continue to drive KITT’s impact in the coming term and beyond. The retreat served not only as a platform for planning, but also as a reminder of who we are—a community of people driven by service, compassion, and the belief that together, we can make a difference. Only in KCTTDI — where service meets heart, and fellowship feels like family.

Learn how to use Kiwanis Engage!
Learn how to use Kiwanis Engage! Dear SLP leaders, We want you to be the first to know that we have launched training for Kiwanis Engage — our new online platform that makes it easier to connect, collaborate and share ideas. Available to the entire Kiwanis family, Kiwanis Engage provides members and leaders with essential tools, including the ability to: Manage membership, club, division and district data. Generate monthly and annual reports. Add and manage member and nonmember chaperones. Manage background checks. Process financial transactions, including viewing and paying invoices. On our learning resources webpage, we have a variety of training videos that take you step-by-step through common tasks such as logging in, updating a club’s members list, reporting officers, generating dues invoices and viewing important data. These videos have been assembled into three levels — to coincide with member, club officer and district officer roles. We strongly encourage you to begin with the videos for “all SLP members.” After that, you are free to follow the appropriate education track — or skip around to find the video you need at a particular moment. On the learning resources webpage, you’ll also find links to the Kiwanis Engage test site. This is where you can try out what you have learned, with real club data — but without the worry of altering or misusing it in the final product. Later this summer when the new platform is live; Kiwanis Engage will replace the current reporting site — known as Kiwanis Connect or the Membership Update Center. Be on the lookout for more communications on Kiwanis Engage’s launch date! If you have any questions, please send the Kiwanis Engage team a message. Connect with us! #KidsNeedKiwanis
