A Joyful Lunar New Year Celebration with All Kiwanians
The Kiwanis Club of Pantai KL ushered in the Lunar New Year with a joyful and heartwarming gathering at the home of our Chartered President, Adeline. The celebration brought together not only members of our own club but also fellow Kiwanians from several other clubs, making it a truly wonderful evening of friendship, fellowship, and festive spirit. The highlight of the afternoon was the traditional “Lou Sang” (Prosperity Toss) ceremony. Members gathered around the table to toss the colorful ingredients of the Yee Sang high into the air while exchanging auspicious wishes for prosperity, good health, and happiness in the year ahead. The cheerful laughter and enthusiastic tossing perfectly reflected the joyful spirit of the Lunar New Year. Adding to the festive mood, guests also enjoyed the tradition of receiving Ang Pao, symbolizing blessings and good fortune for the coming year. These small gestures of kindness and goodwill further strengthened the bonds among members and friends of Kiwanis. Of course, no celebration is complete without delicious food. Adeline graciously hosted the evening and prepared a wonderful spread of festive dishes for everyone to enjoy. Members spent the evening sharing stories, reconnecting with friends, and welcoming new acquaintances in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Events like this remind us that beyond service projects and community work, Kiwanis is also about building lasting friendships and supporting one another as a family of volunteers dedicated to serving children and communities. The Kiwanis Club of Pantai KL would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Adeline for her generous hospitality and to all the Kiwanians who joined us to celebrate this special occasion together. As we welcome the new year, we look forward to another meaningful year of service, fellowship, and impact. Gong Xi Fa Cai and Happy Lunar New Year from the Kiwanis Club of Pantai KL!

Service is strongest when partnerships come together
Service is strongest when partnerships come together. The Kiwanis Club of Visionaries is honoured to collaborate with Books For A Better World (BFBW) and Gains Global (Bauli Malaysia) to turn excess food stock into meaningful community impact. When Gains Global reached out to donate their surplus items, we worked together to ensure these treats reached communities that would truly appreciate them. Together, we distributed the donated goodies to: 🏫 Raphael Academy – bringing smiles and excitement to the children 🏡 En Yuan Old Folks Home – sharing warmth and cheer with our senior citizens This collaboration reflects what Kiwanis is all about — serving the community, reducing wastage, and creating positive change through teamwork. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to: 🙏 Gains Global (Bauli Malaysia) for their generosity and social responsibility 📚 Books For A Better World (BFBW) for coordinating and facilitating this meaningful initiative It is partnerships like these that allow us to serve more, reach more, and do more good together. #KiwanisClubOfVisionaries #KiwanisMalaysia #GainsGlobal #BauliMalaysia #BooksForABetterWorld #CommunityService #FoodDonation #ReduceWastage #ServingTheChildren #ServingTheElderly #TogetherWeCan

PONGGAL 2026
🌾 Celebrating Ponggal with Heart and Heritage 🌾 This year, we were honored to join the Apex Club of Klang and MYKITA in celebrating the vibrant Pongal festival at MYKITA Hostel, Kerling. PonGgal, the cherished Tamil harvest festival, is a time of gratitude, tradition, and togetherness. It was especially meaningful to reconnect with the boys we met during last year’s GGAC 2025 Youth Camp in Mantin, young hearts who remembered us fondly and welcomed us with joy. Many of these children are orphans, growing up without parental care, yet deeply loved by those who nurture them. Their resilience shines through as they are top scholars, talented athletes, and some even represent their state in sports. We began the day with a heartfelt prayer for health and prosperity, followed by the creation of beautiful rice based kolam artwork. The ceremonial cooking of Ponggal, a dish symbolizing abundance, made by boiling rice with milk and jaggery reminded us of the festival’s essence “boiling over” with blessings. The celebration came alive with spirited performances of Kalaripayat and Silambam, showcasing the children’s discipline, pride, and cultural heritage. In line with the Kiwanis motto "Serving the children of the world", we donated three laptops, hoping they will empower these bright young minds on their journey toward excellence. Grateful for the opportunity to share this day of joy, tradition, and connection. Nandri Vanakkam

Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Children's Christmas Party 2025
On Sunday, 21st December 2025, the Kiwanis Club of Klang once again brought festive cheer to the children and families at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah. What began as a tradition has grown into a cherished moment of joy, where Santa, LaLa the Clown, and our members filled the wards with music, laughter and the spirit of giving. Every smile, every sparkle in a child’s eyes reminded us that the true magic of Christmas lies in love shared freely. This year’s celebration, we honored Head Nurse Sister Matron Ann, whose steadfast partnership has made these gatherings possible year after year. Her compassion, gentle strength and support have touched countless lives. As she joined us for her final event before retirement, our hearts were full of gratitude. Sister Matron Ann, thank you for walking beside us in service. May your new chapter be blessed with joy, health, and peace. You leave behind a legacy of kindness that will continue to inspire. Adding to the joy, members from our newly formed Kiwanis Club of Klang Synergy joined us for the first time, bringing fresh energy and heartfelt dedication. These fine gentlemen and ladies prepared and wrapped gifts with great care, ensuring that no child was left out. Their thoughtful contributions lit up the children’s ward, proving that when hearts unite, every corner can be filled with warmth and hope. Equally moving was the joy reflected in the faces of the nurses and medical officers, who give so much of themselves in long hours of tireless care. To see their smiles as we visited was a reminder that the world’s greatest feeling is to be appreciated. To all of you who serve with courage and compassion in both ordinary and trying moments, we wish you good health, peace and strength. Your devotion is the quiet miracle that sustains this hospital every day. May we continue this tradition of service, ensuring that the hospital’s children and families experience the magic of Christmas for many years to come.
