Description

Service is strongest when partnerships come together.
The Kiwanis Club of Visionaries is honoured to collaborate with Books For A Better World (BFBW) and Gains Global (Bauli Malaysia) to turn excess food stock into meaningful community impact.

When Gains Global reached out to donate their surplus items, we worked together to ensure these treats reached communities that would truly appreciate them.

Together, we distributed the donated goodies to:
🏫 Raphael Academy – bringing smiles and excitement to the children
🏡 En Yuan Old Folks Home – sharing warmth and cheer with our senior citizens

This collaboration reflects what Kiwanis is all about — serving the community, reducing wastage, and creating positive change through teamwork.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to:
🙏 Gains Global (Bauli Malaysia) for their generosity and social responsibility
📚 Books For A Better World (BFBW) for coordinating and facilitating this meaningful initiative

It is partnerships like these that allow us to serve more, reach more, and do more good together.

Back to Nature with Youth at Garden Spring, Cheras20 Jun 2616Taman Tun Dr. Ismail

Back to Nature with Youth at Garden Spring, Cheras

Our Back to Nature with Youth activity, organised in collaboration with The Blue Ribbon (TBR), was successfully held at Garden Spring, Cheras. The programme brought together Key Club members from Tree Top International School and Aspiration International Secondary School, accompanied by their teachers. We were also pleased to welcome several non-Key Club participants, including friends and family members of our members. In total, the activity was attended by 14 youths, 4 adults, and 3 representatives from TBR. Participants were guided through five hands-on activity stations: Harvesting Blue Pea FlowersMaking Blue Valley Drinks using edible items from the gardenSoil PaintingSelecting and Mixing SoilPlanting Forest Seeds and Saplings The facilitators from TBR were knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about sharing their expertise. They made each station interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful for the participants. The event received positive feedback and was a wonderful opportunity for youths to learn about nature, sustainability, and the importance of caring for the environment. As we continue to live in an increasingly digital world, opportunities for young people to connect with nature are becoming more important. We hope to organise more activities like this in the future, not only for our youths but also for ourselves as we continue to learn, serve, and grow together.
