Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Children's Christmas Party 2025

News from Kiwanis Klang

Description

On Sunday, 21st December 2025, the Kiwanis Club of Klang once again brought festive cheer to the children and families at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah. What began as a tradition has grown into a cherished moment of joy, where Santa, LaLa the Clown, and our members filled the wards with music, laughter and the spirit of giving.
Every smile, every sparkle in a child’s eyes reminded us that the true magic of Christmas lies in love shared freely.
This year’s celebration, we honored Head Nurse Sister Matron Ann, whose steadfast partnership has made these gatherings possible year after year. Her compassion, gentle strength and support have touched countless lives. As she joined us for her final event before retirement, our hearts were full of gratitude. Sister Matron Ann, thank you for walking beside us in service. May your new chapter be blessed with joy, health, and peace. You leave behind a legacy of kindness that will continue to inspire.
Adding to the joy, members from our newly formed Kiwanis Club of Klang Synergy joined us for the first time, bringing fresh energy and heartfelt dedication. These fine gentlemen and ladies prepared and wrapped gifts with great care, ensuring that no child was left out. Their thoughtful contributions lit up the children’s ward, proving that when hearts unite, every corner can be filled with warmth and hope.
Equally moving was the joy reflected in the faces of the nurses and medical officers, who give so much of themselves in long hours of tireless care. To see their smiles as we visited was a reminder that the world’s greatest feeling is to be appreciated. To all of you who serve with courage and compassion in both ordinary and trying moments, we wish you good health, peace and strength. Your devotion is the quiet miracle that sustains this hospital every day.
May we continue this tradition of service, ensuring that the hospital’s children and families experience the magic of Christmas for many years to come.

Back to Nature with Youth at Garden Spring, Cheras20 Jun 2616Taman Tun Dr. Ismail

Back to Nature with Youth at Garden Spring, Cheras

Our Back to Nature with Youth activity, organised in collaboration with The Blue Ribbon (TBR), was successfully held at Garden Spring, Cheras. The programme brought together Key Club members from Tree Top International School and Aspiration International Secondary School, accompanied by their teachers. We were also pleased to welcome several non-Key Club participants, including friends and family members of our members. In total, the activity was attended by 14 youths, 4 adults, and 3 representatives from TBR. Participants were guided through five hands-on activity stations: Harvesting Blue Pea FlowersMaking Blue Valley Drinks using edible items from the gardenSoil PaintingSelecting and Mixing SoilPlanting Forest Seeds and Saplings The facilitators from TBR were knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about sharing their expertise. They made each station interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful for the participants. The event received positive feedback and was a wonderful opportunity for youths to learn about nature, sustainability, and the importance of caring for the environment. As we continue to live in an increasingly digital world, opportunities for young people to connect with nature are becoming more important. We hope to organise more activities like this in the future, not only for our youths but also for ourselves as we continue to learn, serve, and grow together.
